07-08 Board Goals

The Board will publicly support student academic achievement through quarterly strategic plan reviews presented to the board.
The Board will strive to support policy necessary for the Superintendent to realize his established 2008 goals.
Following the publication of the 2008 budget rankings, the Board will conduct one public budget forum/workshop in conjunction with the first reading of the budget.
All board members will visit each school annually.
The Board will strive to be available at schools during the fall and spring parent/teacher conferences.
Annually, each board member will share at least one relevant educational article with fellow members.

Strategic Plan Objectives

All students will graduate or meet their individual educational plan.
All students will be reading at a proficient or advanced level by the end of 3rd grade.
All students will be proficient or advanced in writing and math by the end of 4th grade.
All students will be proficient or advanced in reading, writing, and math by the end of 6th grade.
