  • Student Medication and Schools

We would like to remind families that students are not permitted to transport any medication on their persons, including any cold remedies. A grown-up must bring all medications to school and complete paperwork with our health clerk, to be kept safe and locked in her office. To download and print a form to bring to school for your child, go to KGBSD.org and open the PARENT tab. Select District Nurse and on her page, open Medication Authorization Forms. You can select "Over the Counter Medication" or "Prescription Medication." These forms, signed by a guardian, are required in the office along with any medicine your child may take at school. THANK YOU!

  • Parking Lot Safety !

Mornings and afternoons the parking area at Fawn Mountain is very busy. When dropping off and picking up students, please either pull up curbside or walk your children through the lot to the sidewalk. Several instances of children darting into traffic have occurred. If you are a driver please be especially aware of children in the parking area. Thank you for your cooperation to keep all of the children safe.
