App: Learning Tlingit
The "Tlingit Language" app helps to build skills in the language. This app contains hundreds of entries in more than 20 different categories all with accompanying audio for vocabulary and phrases.

This document was developed as part of SERRC's Project CREATE (Culturally Responsive Evidences for Alaska Teacher Effectiveness) to develop and support a teacher evaluation framework based on Alaska Teacher Standards and Alaska Cultural Standards for Educators.
ANKN: Alaska Standard for Culturally Responsive Schools
The Alaska standards for culturally-responsive schools have been developed by Alaska Native educators to provide a way for schools and communities to examine the extent to which they are attending to the educational and cultural well being of the students in their care.
Sealaska Heritage Institute is a private nonprofit founded in 1980 to perpetuate and enhance Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian cultures of Southeast Alaska. Its goal is to promote cultural diversity and cross-cultural understanding through public services and events. Sealaska Heritage also conducts social, scientific and public policy research that promotes Alaska Native arts, cultures, history and education statewide.
