     About:

    I grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois outside of Chicago.  I started playing the violin when I was 3.  My first teaching opportunity was at the Irish Music Foundation in Chicago.   I have a BA in Music Education and K-12 Licensure from Metro State University of Denver.  Suzuki Certification in Violin and Viola was completed at the University of Denver.  I was performing professionally as a violinist and fiddle player already so I took up Clarinet and played in the College Band at MSU.  My violin and fiddle career include:

    My family:

    My 23 year old son lives in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and is working as a field engineer for a power plant construction.  He graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

    My 21 year old daughter lives in Denver, Colorado where she attends the Colorado School of Mines.  She is starting her Junior year as a Chemical Engineering Major with a Manufacturing Emphasis.  

    My 10 year old son will be attending Point Higgins Elementary.  He loves minecraft, skiing and legos.

    Interests:

    Skiing, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, yoga, SUP and kayak.
