    Classroom Expectations

       1. Struggling is a part of learning

    2. You are capable of anything

    3. You are the focus of this class, not me

    4. You are responsible for your attitude towards learning

    5. Everything you do matters

    6. You are important as a learner, and a human being

All of our classroom rules and expectations fall under the Point Higgins pledge: " I am safe, I am respectful, I am a learner". Respect is mandatory for all persons and their belongings in the classroom AT ALL TIMES. Students are responsible for their own behavior and belongings. YOU MUST KEEP TRACK OF YOUR OWN MATERIALS

    Class Procedures:

Homework: Class time will be provided to work on math homework, any work that is not finished is due the next day. If you are sick or out of town you are responsible for your math and reading our class book. Please try to let me know before going out of town, so I can prepare a schedule for you.

Grades: Grades will be updated weekly. Once a week we will do a grade check, and you will send your grades to your parents.

Email: A lot of classroom assignments will be done through Google Email, and Google Drive in order to save paper. In addition many hard copies of assignments will be located on Drive for students to access from any computer. Students will have Chrome books they can use in the classroom and bring home in the case of quarantine or extended absence.

Remember we are here to learn and have fun! I look forward to meeting all of you and having an excellent year! :)
