• Class Act Mentor Program
Class Act is a freshman transition program that was started at Ketchikan High School in 2005 for the incoming class of 2009.  Upperclassmen are selected as mentors and assigned to small groups of freshmen for the first semester of their freshman year.  The main objectives of the Class Act program are to ease fears about entering high school, make the transition to Kayhi as smooth as possible, give students a successful start, and reduce high school dropouts.
