Danielle Dolsky began teaching at Schoenbar Middle School in Ketchikan, Alaska in 2006. Prior to teaching in Ketchikan, she taught for ten years in the Hickman Mills C-1 School District in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a graduate of University of Missouri - Kansas City (or U.M.K.C.) with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (grades 1-8) and a graduate of University of Central Missouri with her Master's Degree in Special Education (K-12).
While Danielle loves teaching, she enjoys doing other things as well. She is Secretary of the Ketchikan Pool League, where she keeps stats and plays pool. Danielle's dreams came true when she  married Jarrod Dolsky, the love of her life, in June 2015. He is a supervisor in the Marine Division at Vigor. She has one child, Austin, who is twenty-five years old; a fourteen-year-old stepson named Dylan; and a four-year-old cat named Zac. She thrives here in Ketchikan by taking daily walks for her source of "rest and relaxation" and by spending time with family and friends.
