Dear Fawn Mountain Families, If you have been affected by the recent federal furlough and may qualify for the free and or reduced lunch program, please let us know. We have applications in our office available for pick up or to send home. You can also apply online & get more information on the KGBSD website, under quick links, free & reduced lunch applications.
We would like to remind families that students are not permitted to transport any medication on their persons, including any cold remedies and cough drops. A grown-up must bring all medications to school and complete paperwork with our health clerk, to be kept safe and locked in her office. To download and print a form to bring to school for your child, go to KGBSD.org and open the PARENT tab. Select District Nurse and on her page, open Medication Authorization Forms. You can select "Over the Counter Medication" or "Prescription Medication." These forms, signed by a guardian, are required in the office along with any medicine your child may take at school. THANK YOU!
Please call the office at 228-2200 by 2:30 so that we have adequate time to deliver notes to your child's teacher. We have adopted a new policy for students who are needing to be picked up: we call them to the office to wait for their pick-up person to arrive. It has been working very well for staff and students!Thank you for your help; we appreciate the advanced notice!
