    Bus Transportation

    Busing is provided from Ward Cove to the south end of the island. If your student is going to be riding the school bus, there is a Transportation Form that all parent/guardian(s) must sign. You may get this form at the Schoenbar Office. For more information on individual routes, please look at our "Bus Routes" tab or contact First Student at 907-225-3806.

    Visitors
     
    For the security of our students and staff, all visitors must enter and exit our building at the front office. We ask you also visibly display a visitor sticker for all staff to see.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS
     
    Check Your K21 Email: Important information regarding competing Quarter 3 schoolwork, picking up locker contects, and upcoming meetings with your Homeroom meetings.

    Kayhi Enrollment Meetings for 8th Graders: We will be holding an online "Zoom" meeting for parents and students to learn about their year at Kayhi and how to select classes. Kayhi counselors and administrators will be present for the meeting to answer your questions. A link to the zoom meeting will be sent directly to you by Schoenbar Administration for April 1st, Wednesday: 6-7 pm.
     
    Grab & Go Meals For Kids: Breakfast pick-up @ 7:30-9:00 am and lunch pick-up @ 11:30-1:00 pm. Kids do not have to attend Schoenbar to receive a meal, kids do not have to have a parent/guardian present, meals are also avaiable at HTE, FME, and PHE (times vary by location).

    Ms. Deal: Join Ms. Deal for some library time to talk about books you've been reading or share ideas for new ones and how to access them. She would love to visit with you, read chapters out of books, or help you with using AK Digital Library. Drop in anytime Monday-Friday 10:00-10:30 or 11:30-12:00. 
     
    Mrs. Wallace: Mrs. Wallace misses all of our Schoenbar students and would love to catch up. please use these office hours as a time to touch base, share your experience, ask questions, and stay connected to our school community. I'll be looking forward to our visits daily before and after homeroom times, please drop in whenever you'd like. Monday-Friday 10:00-10:30 and 11:30-12:00.

    Online Registration: Due to COVID-19 the State of Alaska has closed schools statewide through May 1st (possibly later). We are not accepting new student registrations at this time. Parents and guardians can complete the NEW student required paperwork using the our Online Registration Portal. In just a few clicks, you can register one or more children. All school forms including emergency care information, immunization records, media release forms, and more are 100% online for your convenience. To register your child for school you'll need a valid email account, your child's birth certificate and immunization record (these can be uploaded or brought to the school).

    ParentPortal: Having a parent account gives you access to your child's grades, attendance, assignments, lunch balance, fees, announcements, and more. District Code: SFWC
