    Order before April 13,  and you'll receive two free personalized pages! You can add photos and memories from your computer.  All orders must be placed on the TreeRing website below.  The school cannot accept any cash or checks. The cost is $12.99.

  • Running Club Family Running Club

    Who: Point Higgins students (1st - 6th grade)

    March 20 - May 10

    Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm

    **First and second graders must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or family friend due to safety concerns along trails and roads. (See Mr. Hernandez if you have questions.)  

    Athletic shoes are required.

    Permission slips will be sent home with students and are due on or before March 19.

  • February's Theme of the Month was Patience
    Patience if quiet hope and trust, expecting things to turn out all right.  Patience is being calm and tolerant when difficult things happen.  Patience is waiting without complaining.
    Congratulations to the students below who consistantly display patience!

    Students above enjoy watching a skit performed by Mr. Glover's class during our Student of the Month Assembly. 
    March Theme of the Month is "Commitment" 
    Commitment is caring deeply about something or someone.  It is willingness to give your all to a friendship, a task, or something you believe in.  It is keeping your promises. 

    Muffins with Mom
    Muffins with Mom brings moms, grandmas, aunts, and friends together to enjoy muffins, juice, (coffee), and each other. 
    Stay tuned for Donuts with Dad in the spring!

    PH Archery Team participates in Virtual Tournament
    They won second place in the State!
    Students have worked hard in morning and afternoon practices to hone their archery skills!  A huge Thank You to Mr. Hernandez for his dedication to Point Higgins students and the numerous after school activies he coaches.

    This event was well done, kept our students attention and was thoroughly enjoyed.  They taught our students who Elizabeth Peratrovich was and how she changed the history for Alaska Natives, bringing equal rights to all.

    K Registration
    Is your child turning FIVE years old on or before September 1, 2018? 
    We are now accepting Kindergarten enrollment for the 2018-19 school year!  Enroll early so you get into the school of your choice! 
    Enrollment packets are available in our office and on our website.  Please include a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization record. (Most likely your child will need shots before school starts so check with your health care provider.)
    *If your child currently attends Point Higgins preschool and will be in Kindergarten in the fall you are good to go.  Please let us know if your child will NOT be attending Kindergarten at Point Higgins.

    Preschool Screening 2018-19 
    April 4-5
    Our office will begin accepting preschool screening applications through March 30th.  Classes fill up quickly so don't delay! Screening is required for students planning to attend preschool in the fall. 
    *A copy of your child's birth certificate and shot record must be attached to the application.
    Your child can be screened if he/she is turning four years old on or before Sept. 1, 2018 (or three years old if you suspect a developmental delay).
