  • Teacher Requests

    The teaching line up for the 2018-19 school year will be posted to our website on May 1. 

    All of our teachers are fabulous, but if you would like to request a particular teacher please email James.Sines@k21schools.org, or send a note to the office.  The deadline is May 11.  Stay tuned for more information.

    Students participated in a Code Red Lockdown Drill this week. During the school year we also practice fire, tsunami, and earthquake drills.

  • Registration is now open for 2018-19!
    Preschool kids
    Attention upcoming preschool parents! 
     You will be notified regarding your child's preschool enrollment.  If your child has a spot please fill out a registration packet and turn it in the the office ASAP.  If registration forms are not turned into our office before April 27th your child's spot will be given to a student next on the list.  Thanks!
    You can pick up registration forms at our office or download them from our website under "Online Forms".

  • Running Club Family Running Club

    Who: Point Higgins students (1st - 6th grade)

    Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm

    **First and second graders must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or family friend due to safety concerns along trails and roads. (See Mr. Hernandez if you have questions.)

  • Earth Day
    Earth Day is an annual event that was started in 1970.  It's an important day to reflect on our planet, our environment and what we can do to keep our earth healthy and protect it's natural beauty.  It is a global event each year and more than a billion people in 192 countries now take part in what is the largest civic-focused day of action in the world.
    On Monday, April 23rd at 2:00pm all students and staff at Point Higgins school will celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up our school grounds and surrounding area.  Latex gloves and garbage bags will be provided.
      Parents are welcome to join us!

     Students Learn About Gardening
    6th grade Ms. Smith's Class
    Fifth and sixth grade students added plants to the new garden boxes located outside their classrooms thanks to a grant awarded to Mrs. Frey and Miss Smith.

    Friday, April 27th - 1:00-3:00 PM
    Student in grades K-6 will participate in a "fun day" to be out of their classrooms for the afternoon to enjoy numerous activities with their friends; face painting, nail painting, legos, crafts, recess, gym, and more!

    Thank you for coming to our Donuts with Dad Event - PHE Dads ROCK!

    Commitment is caring deeply about something or someone.  It is willingness to give your all to a friendship, a task, or something you believe in.  It is keeping your promises.

    Determination is focusing your energy and efforts on a task and then sticking with it until it is finished.  It is using your willpower to do something when it isn't easy.

    Don't delay ordering your yearbook!
    All orders must be placed on the TreeRing website below.  The school cannot accept any cash or checks.  The cost is $12.99.

    Students will have the opportunity to sign yearbooks during the last week of school at a scheduled yearbook signing event.

    K Registration
    Is your child turning FIVE years old on or before September 1, 2018? 
    We are now accepting Kindergarten enrollment for the 2018-19 school year!  Enroll early so you get into the school of your choice! 
    Enrollment packets are available in our office and on our website.  Please include a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization record. (Most likely your child will need shots before school starts so check with your health care provider.)
    *If your child currently attends Point Higgins preschool and will be in Kindergarten in the fall you are good to go.  Please let us know if your child will NOT be attending Kindergarten at Point Higgins.
