Kindergarten will have a "Rolling Start"
Kindergarten students whose last name begins with A-M their first day of school is Thursday, August 23rd. (This group will not attend school on Friday, August 24th.) Kindergarten students whose last name begins with N-Z, their first day of school is Friday, August 24th.
ALL Kindergarten students will begin attending everyday on Monday, August 27th. Please plan on attending the first 30 minutes of school with your child (if possible) to go over important information.

You are invited to an informal Open House to meet your child's teacher and check out the classroom!
Drop-In Immunization Clinic
Does your child need shots? The Ketchikan Public Health Center will host a Drop-In Immunization Clinic from 6-7pm in the Point Higgins First Aid Room. Please bring a copy of your child's current shot record. If you can't attend this night you are free to stop by the Public Health Center, 3054 Fifth Avenue.
Our cool new fundraiser kicks off on Friday, August 31st and end September 14th.
Be on the lookout for a packet of great items to share with friends, family, and co-workers. All money raised will fund our Artist in Resident Program
as well as student activities.

Thank you Mrs. Frey and Southeast Exposure for making memories for our sixth graders' elementary school experience!
Sixth graders were tourists for the afternoon! They enjoyed a tour of the cruise ship (Niew Amsterdam) and were treated to lunch and dessert, as well as riding a tour bus to and from school.

If you have not set up a Parent Portal account in Power School, you will receive a letter with instructions and a temporary password the first week of school. This allows you to see your child's assignments, grades, attendance, and lunch balance. If you set up a parent account last year, you will use your same user name and password.
