Ketchikan Gateway Borough School District English as a Second Language Program  Ketchikan, Alaska Home Our Students Forms in Spanish Our Services Our Staff Forms in Tagalog                                                         OUR STUDENTS                                            Our goal is to assist the students in listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills.  The program currently is serving over 70 students from many different language groups including Tagalog, Kapampangan, Ilokano, Spanish, Vietnamese, Albanian, Pohnpei, Thai, Yupik, Creole/Spanish, and Cantonese.  These students may have learned another language first, primarily speak another language at home, or are spoken to in another language by their main caregivers.
